Meet Amina
About Amina Eastham-Hillier N.D
An award-winning naturopath, medical herbalist and nutritionist who has spent 30+ years helping people with complex, chronic and undiagnosed illness find answers.
Amina has worked in health for over 30 years. She started her own clinic in England, travelled extensively through Asia, spent a year studying and working in Japan and a year in China studying herbal medicine, and now consults from the Noosa hinterland on the Sunshine Coast while presenting internationally.
With insight into Japanese and Chinese health traditions, alongside Western medicine and Australian herbal knowledge, Amina brings a genuinely integrative view to her work. Much of her practice comes by referral from medical doctors and other practitioners, particularly for complex, chronic and undiagnosed cases.
Lyme disease & chronic stealth infections
Amina is a highly experienced, Lyme-literate naturopath who works with Lyme Borreliosis and co-infections, mould illness, and chemical and mould sensitivities. A large part of her practice is supporting patients with undiagnosed stealth infections from bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites, and she consults with patients in Australia and internationally.
She earned her Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy at the Australian College of Natural Medicine and has a deep interest in chronic fatigue and chronic immune imbalance. She is also passionate about children’s and women’s health, from preconception and fertility to menopause, gut health, allergies and skin.
A former British-trained beauty therapist
Amina’s earlier career as a British-trained beauty therapist gives her real depth with stubborn skin presentations, including eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, rosacea and acne, approached from the inside out.
Australian Practitioner of the Year (ATMS & Nature and Health Magazine, 2017)
Consulted with patients across the UK, Ireland, Europe, Canada, USA and Asia
Author of Lyme Natural, a handbook for naturopaths, GPs and patients
